These units are typically constructed from high-strength steel or aerospace-grade aluminium, with an outer shell offering waterproofing, fire resistance, thermal insulation and soundproofing. The interior features integrated plumbing and electrical systems, smart home controls and fresh air air-conditioning, and is fully finished before leaving the factory. Upon arrival at the site, the unit is ready for immediate use once connected to water and electricity, without the need for complex foundation work.
Space Pods are widely used in a variety of settings, including cultural and tourism accommodation, camping sites, urban public services and temporary offices.
